Why We Do It (Our Mission Statement)

Here at Fairfield County Catholic Student Union we desire to see college students encounter the Lord through the sacraments, prayer, and fasting.  We strive to build up deep, spiritual freindships amongst each other, and more importantly, with Christ himself; to go deeper into our interior lives; and to live a life for Christ.

Answering the call from Bishop Caggiano to fulfill his vision laid out in The One, we aim to bring the new evangelization to the students located in the Diocese of Bridgeport, and to walk with them in the faith journey.

“And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.” Matthew 28: 18-20
